Terms and Conditions for Hosts

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and responsibilities of Hosts who list their Properties or Experiences on Fidali (“Platform”). By registering as a host and listing your property or experience, you agree to these terms.

2. Host Obligations

2.1. Accuracy of listings

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your property or experience, including location, amenities, rates and availability. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.

2.2. Compliance with laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your Properties and Hosting activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations and tax obligations.

2.3. Safety standards

You are responsible for ensuring that your property or experience meets the safety and health standards required by law.

2.4. Interact with guests

You must communicate with Guests respectfully and professionally and resolve any disputes in good faith.

3. Listing and pricing

3.1. Approval for listing

All listings are subject to review and approval by the platform.

3.2. Pricing

You are solely responsible for setting the price for your property or experience. The Platform may suggest competitive pricing options but will not enforce them.

3.3. Fees and payments

The platform will deduct a service fee of [enter %] from each reservation. Payments will be processed [insert time frame] after guest check-in.

4. Hosts' cancellation policy

4.1. Host-initiated cancellations

Repeated cancellations by hosts are discouraged and may result in penalties, including suspension or removal from the platform. You must notify guests immediately if you need to cancel your reservation.

4.2. Refunds for guests

If the host cancels the reservation, the guest will receive a full refund and the platform may help them find alternative accommodations.

4.3. Choose a cancellation policy

Hosts can choose from the following cancellation policies for their listings:

  • Flexible: Guests can cancel until 24 hours before check-in for a full refund, and you won’t be paid. If they cancel after that, you’ll be paid for each night they stay, plus one additional night.
  • Moderate: Guests can cancel until 5 days before check-in for a full refund, and you won’t be paid. If they cancel after that, you’ll be paid for each night they stay, plus one additional night, plus 50% for all unspent nights.
  • Firm: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in. If they cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you’ll be paid 50% for all nights. If they cancel less than 7 days before check-in, you’ll be paid 100% for all nights. Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in.
  • Strict: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in. If they cancel 14 or more days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, you’ll be paid 50% for all nights. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll be paid 50% for all nights. If they cancel after that, you’ll be paid 100% for all nights.

4.4. The impact of politics on profits

Refunds issued to Guests due to Host cancellation will affect booking payments, and the Platform will not reimburse service fees in such cases.

5. Prohibited activities

Discrimination based on race, sex, religion, or other protected categories.

List properties that you do not own or do not have the legal right to rent.

Engaging in fraudulent activities or creating multiple accounts.

6. Account termination

The platform reserves the right to terminate your account for violation of these terms or applicable laws.

General terms for both hosts and guests

  1. Limitation of liability:
    The platform is not responsible for disputes between users, property damage, injuries, or legal claims resulting from hosting or reservations.
  2. Privacy policy:
    All users must adhere to the platform's privacy policy regarding the collection and use of personal data.
  3. Conflict resolution:
    Disputes will be resolved through the platform's mediation process. Legal action can only be taken in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  4. Modifications to the Terms:
    The platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or app notifications.
